国際親善試合が4月6日に行われ、なでしこジャパンはコロンビア女子代表と対戦しました。途中出場の高橋はな選手がアディショナルタイムにPKを決め、日本女子代表を1-1の引き分けに持ち込みました。これにより、デンマーク人のニルス・ニールセン監督の無敗記録が守られました。

この試合は、ニールセン監督にとって日本での初めてのホームゲームでした。大阪のヨドコウ桜スタジアムで、8,000人以上の観客が見守る中で行われました。
